Dr. Faris El-Khider is board-certified in gastroenterology.
He obtained his MBBS/MD degree Academy of Medical Sciences & Technology in Khartoum, Sudan. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center / Wayne State University where he was appointed as Chief Medical Resident and internal medicine residency associate program director. He then joined Cleveland Clinic and completed a research-track fellowships in gastroenterology. Dr. El-Khider’s clinical interests span general gastroenterology, including inflammatory bowel disease, motility disorders, liver and pancreatic disorders. On the medical research side, his interests are biologic therapies, data science, data visualization, statistical analysis, and model building.
